Northwest Energy Research Association (NWERA - pronounced "new era") is an eclectic team comprised of aerospace engineers, software engineers, machinists, and automotive technicians led by entrepreneur Brian Tallman (formally of Microsoft Corporation). The team is developing a ground-breaking 1.3L rotary engine and integrating it into a production Vehicle. The new rotary engine will be able to run on nearly any fuel type (Diesel, biodiesel, gasoline, CNG. LNG, E-85, E-95 and Hydrogen), have 35 to 40% few parts then most modern internal combustion engines, and achieve roughly four to five times the fuel efficiency.
